Paul Nordby started as an apprentice to Jim Laslie in 1982 as an associate in bassoon repair and restoration. Nordby has served as his assistant at the Glickman-Popkin Bassoon Camp in North Carolina since 1983. Nordby also is a music educator who has taught in public and private schools in Indianapolis and at various colleges and universities. He is active as a bassoon recitalist and present clinics on bassoon maintenance.
